West Cork Beacon (formerly West Cork Women Against Violence) provides
specialised domestic and sexual abuse supports and services throughout
West Cork. It operates confidential, non-judgemental supports to women
and children experiencing domestic abuse and specialised counselling
to both women and men from * years upwards who
have experienced sexual violence. The organisation operates several
innovative projects including a safe house, specialised therapy for
children living with domestic abuse and provides training to a range
of other agencies and organisations on how support survivors of abuse.
Our services are client-centred which means that our approach is based
on their needs. We work to empower our clients and to provide a
respectful, trauma informed response to all survivors.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT WORKER TO
JOIN THE ORGANISATION.
